NEW YORK ROAD RUNNERS’ annual calendar features more than 100 running/walking events

throughout New York City, including road races ranging from 1 to 50 miles, cross country races,

indoor track meets, and kids races.

NYRR needs and greatly appreciates the assistance of VOLUNTEERS at all of these events.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to the sport of running.

Once again Mercury Masters is continuing their ‘Adopt-a-Race’ tradition as a show of appreciation

to the New York Road Runners by marshalling two races in 2011:

Sunday, May 8, 2011:    Japan Day Run For Hope

Sunday, June 26, 2011:  Achilles Hope & Possibility

With the help of  ‘fashionable’ orange bibs, and bullhorns, we will keep runners in the

recreation lanes, direct park traffic, and act as a cheering section for all runners.
